The independent low-cost carrier Monarch Airlines also flies out of Birmingham, London-Gatwick, Manchester. First Choice Airways, the charter division of First Choice also offers cheap flights to Luxor. Currently Ryan Air and Easy Jet have no plans to offer cheap flights to Luxor.

The airport is only 4 miles from the edge of Luxor, so no long journeys in hot transfer buses.
